The admission criteria for the Degree in Audiovisual Communication are those established in Royal Decree 412/2014, and those established in the specific regulations of the Autonomous Community, Order of the Ministry of Education and University Planning of 24 March 2011, which regulates the entrance exams to official university degree courses and the admission process to the three universities of the Galician University System.
Students may study the degree after passing the University Entrance Exams (ABAU) carried out by the Interuniversity Commission of Galicia. The exams are held and held in June and July. You can consult the admission criteria and procedures on the CIUG website.
In the event that there is a demand greater than the current supply of places (currently 50), they will be available according to the grades obtained in the PAU.
Entry requirements
The requirements for access to the Degree in Digital Creation, Animation and Video Games are, in general, those established by RD 1393/2007, of 29 October and RD 412/2014, of 6 June. Thus, article 3 of RD 412/2014 establishes that those who meet any of the following requirements may access official university degree studies:
- Students in possession of a Bachelor's degree from the Spanish Educational System or another declared equivalent.
- Students in possession of a European Baccalaureate degree or an International Baccalaureate diploma.
- Students in possession of Bachelor's or Bachelor's degrees, diplomas or studies from educational systems of Member States of the European Union or other States with which international agreements applicable in this regard have been signed, on a reciprocity basis.
- Students in possession of degrees, diplomas or studies recognized as Bachelor's degrees of the Spanish Educational System, obtained or completed in educational systems of States that are not members of the European Union with which international agreements have not been signed for the recognition of the Bachelor's degree in a reciprocity regime.
- Students in possession of official degrees of Higher Vocational Training Technician, Higher Plastic Arts and Design Technician or Higher Sports Technician belonging to the Spanish Educational System, or of degrees, diplomas or studies declared equivalent or recognized to said degrees.
- Students in possession of degrees, diplomas or studies, other than those equivalent to the degrees of Bachelor's Degree, Higher Vocational Training Technician, Higher Plastic Arts and Design Technician, or Higher Sports Technician of the Spanish Educational System, obtained or completed in a Member State of the European Union or in other States with which international agreements applicable in this regard have been signed, in a reciprocity regime, when said students meet the academic requirements required in said Member State to access their Universities.
- People over twenty-five years of age who pass the entrance exam established in the Royal Decree.
- People over forty years of age with work or professional experience related to education.
- People over forty-five years of age who pass the entrance exam established in the aforementioned Royal Decree.
- Students in possession of an official university degree of Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent degree.
- Students in possession of an official university degree of University Diploma, Technical Architect, Technical Engineer, Bachelor's, Architect, Engineer, corresponding to the previous organization of university education or equivalent degree.
Students who have completed partial foreign or Spanish university studies, or who, upon completing their foreign university studies, did not obtain their approval in Spain and wish to continue their studies at a Spanish university. In this case, it will be an essential requirement that the corresponding university has recognized them with at least 30 ECTS credits.
Students who were in a position to access university according to the regulations of the Spanish Educational System prior to Organic Law 8/2013, of December 9.
Registration
Enrollment in undergraduate and master's studies at the UDC begins in July and ends in October, with a calendar established each year.
