If you're a studente in either of the degrees offered in the faculty and want to get closer to the professional field you can take part in two kinds of internships: curricular and extracurricular.

Curricular internships

These are those that are carried out once enrolled in the 4th year of Internships subject. In the case of CAV, curricular internships are optional and must have 150 hours (6 credits), while in CDAV the duration is 225 hours (9 credits) and are mandatory.

Curricular internships can be obtained through the offers of companies that the center publishes on the Virtual Campus of the subjects or on the initiative of the student. In this case, you will only have to sign the Company Agreement with the UDC (if necessary) and the formative project with the selected students.

Once the internship period has ended, the students will have to submit the Report of the professional tutor and their internship report to the Virtual Campus in order to pass the subject.

Extracurricular internships

To carry out an extracurricular internship, you must be enrolled in any of the degrees in the current academic year (from September to July) and have passed 50% of the degree credits, and it is mandatory to have passed all the basic training credits.

Normally, this type of internship is carried out either in the summer (between 3rd and 4th year) or as an extension of the curricular internships, and you can do a total of 750 hours of internships (of both types) per academic year.

This type of internship is offered through a Team group that you can sign up for by contacting the Faculty's Internship Coordinator.
