Former members of the UDC university community (ex-students, former PAS or PDI), students from other university institutions, researchers and, in general, people from outside the university who can justify this need can be authorised to use the loan service as external users.
This temporary authorisation lasts for one year, renewable, and allows the card holder to borrow 6 works for 10 days each.
If you wish to register as an external authorized user you have to send the following documentation to the email: accesodoc.biblioteca@udc.gal
The printed form is also available at the University libraries for those who prefer to submit it in person.
Once registered, the user will receive a welcome letter and an email that will allow them to change their password.
After a few days, the cards will be available and can be collected at the library selected by the user.
External authorised users who wish to identify themselves in the Crunia catalogue must log in as an Authorised User and identify themselves with the barcode of the card (21 + DNI) and their password.
In your authorised user account you can consult:
As an external authorised user you DO NOT HAVE ACCESS to the electronic resources subscribed to by the UDC.
To borrow items from the library, you must present one of the following documents:
Library card
Official identification document (ID card, passport, driver's licence, etc.)
The use of the UDC wireless network is restricted to the university community. External users cannot access the wifi, unless they are ex-students (they will access with their old university username and password through the udcportal network) or members of other universities participating in the eduroam project. In this case they will use the eduroam network by configuring their computer according to the guidelines of their home institution.
