Introdución
Este taller está deseñado para practicar a conversa en inglés e está pensado en alumnos e alumnas de nivel medio.

Objetivos
Practicar as funcións da linguaxe en inglés


Metodoloxía
A metodoloxía do taller é esencialmente comunicativa e funcional. Se utilizarán presentacións en power point, videos de YouTube e fotocopias.
Así mesmo se proporcionaran ferramentas para que os alumnos podan practicar os contidos vistos en clase de forma autónoma.

Contidos
Practicaremos as funcións da linguaxe fundamentais para poder comunicarse en inglés en diferentes situacións adaptadas aos intereses dos alumnos e alumnas.

Situacións:

1) In the classroom: Personal identification (name, address, telephone number, age, sex, nationality, date of birth, marital status)

2) Recreation and leisure activities: Favorite activities, sports and games, climate and seasons; weather; seasonal activities; holiday activities; parties; cultural and artistic interests.

3) Family, friends and daily activities: Family and relatives; physical states; emotional stares; daily activities; holiday and vacation activities; pets?

4) Plans, obligations and careers: Immediate future plans; general future activites; obligations; hopes and desires; careers and professions.

5) Residence: Place of residence; rooms of a house; furniture; activities at home.

6) Narrating past experiences: Immediate past events; yesterday’s activities; weekend events; trips and vacations; experiences.

7) Health, illnesses and emergencies: Parts of the body; physical states; health maintenance

8) Eating: Food and beverages; ordering a meal in a restaurant; shopping in a supermaket; preparing food from récipes.

9) Travel and transportation: Geography; modes of transportation; vacations; experiences on trips; making reservations…

10) Shopping and buying: Money and prices; gifts; bargaining

11) Issues and current events: Environmental problems; economic issues; education; ethical issues; politics; crime; sports; social events; cultural events; science and health.
