CSD (Cambridge Structural Database)

Access

The national agreement that CSIC has with CCDC allows each centre a limited Campus-level licence blocked by nodes, which in our case allows for 250 activations/computers connected to the UDC network.

This licence specifies that it is prohibited to share the key with third parties outside the subscribing institutions.

Information:

  • Subject: chemistry
  • Content: this is the main worldwide repository on molecular crystal structures, developped by the Cambridge Crystallographic Centre (CCDC). The CSD bibliographic records include chemical and crystallographic information both for organic molecules and metal-organic compounds, whose 3D structures were established by the use of x-ray or neutron diffraction. The database also registers the output of the studies on monocrystals and powder diffraction.
