Off-campus access to the Library's electronic collection

Click on  AUTHENTICATE to get the off-campus access to the electronic collection of the Library. You can check  this guide or this video for more details.

  • Resources: You can access the electronic resources (journals, books, databases) acquired by the library to support both teaching and research. The access to these resources is only intended for academic purposes, it is not allowed their use if there is an economic benefit or for other professional purposes unrelated to the university.
  • Users: This access is only granted to the members of the university community: Teachers and Research staff (PDI), students, and Administration and Services staff (PAS). It is their responsibility the correct use of their access credentials.
  • Characteristics: To authenticate, you must use your UDC credentials (user name and password), no change in your computer's configuration is needed. Bear in mind that you must respect the copyright laws when using these resources.

Some of these electronic resources have also an institutional access via RedIris that allows the off-campus access just by selecting the name of the institution the user belongs to. After the selection, the user will have to enter the UDC´s username and password to validate the authentification. More info

Within the UDC's premises, the access to the electronic collection is free from any of the computers connected to the university network, and it is not necessary to authenticate in advance.
