Access to electronic resources is restricted to members of the UDC university community. To access from outside it is necessary to authenticate previously with the user name and password.

In addition, in the case of institutional access, the Universidade da Coruña must be selected as the institution and then authenticated.

An alternative to work from outside is the use of tools such as the virtual desktop VDI, or the virtual private network VPN.

CINAHL [restricted access]
CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) is a database specialising in nursing and other health-related disciplines. It is accessed through the EBSCO platform, which allows a simultaneous search with MEDLINE using MeSH terms.

COCHRANE LIBRARY [restricted access]
Collection of databases with high quality clinical evidence. Highlights include the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR), the Cochrane Controlled Trials Register (CENTRAL) and Cochrane Clinical Responses.

DIALNET [free access]

DIALNET is a database of spanish scientific literature on multidisciplinary subjects that includes journals, doctoral theses and publications in congresses. It is worth highlighting the bibliographic alerts service that disseminates new updates via email.

LILACS [free access]
Database that covering the scientific literature on health sciences produced in Latin America and the Caribbean. Lilacs is maintained and updated by BIREME, a specialized center of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).

PEDro [free access]
Created by the Centre for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy of the George Institute for Global Health in Australia, it is a database in Spanish for the search of controlled trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines in the field of physiotherapy.

PUDMED [free access]
Open access search tool developed by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) in the United States. Its main component is the MEDLINE database, which contains references to more than 5200 biomedical journals.

OTSEEKER [free access]
OTseeker (Occupational Therapy Systematic Evaluation of Evidence), produced by the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland in Australia, contains summaries of systematic reviews and controlled trials in the field of occupational therapy.

SCOPUS [restricted access]
Produced by the dutch multinational Elsevier, one of the most prestigious scientific publishers in the world, Scopus is the largest database of scientific literature. It is multidisciplinary in nature, although about 40% of its content is devoted to the field of biomedical sciences.

SPORTDISCUS [restricted access]
Database specialised in sports and sports medicine, providing access to more than 500 full-text journals. It uses the EBSCO search platform.

WEB of SCIENCE [restricted access]
Multidisciplinary database platform. WoS allows simultaneous searches in several databases such as Current Contents, Medline or SciELO, in addition to its main collection Web of Science Core Collection.
