Exhibition created by the students of Lingua e Cultura dos Países de Fala Portuguesa of the Facultad de Filoloxía about Angolan and Mozambican women writers in Portuguese language.

María Jesús Hernáez Lerea says that the short story is an exciting genre of fiction that gives us back experience in the form of isolated moments that acquire a high power of intensity and suggestion when they are disconnected from a context explained in detail. ("Exploration of a literary genre, Alice Munro's short stories"). In the library we made a selection of works of short stories, written by authors in different languages.

According to the World Tourism Organization, responsible tourism respects the environment, culture and heritage of the host societies and ensures long-term economic activity in a fair and equitable manner. This library exhibition tries to give visibility to this type of tourism with guides, articles, examples of good practice, advice... because another way of traveling is possible.

This exhibition is inspired by the work of Carmen Estirado, «What I was writing. The women of the Generation of 98». Its objective is, beyond paying homage to Estirado's great research work, to discover and vindicate those feminine voices, pioneers of Spanish feminism, that have been erased from the history of this well-known generation.
