Our research has three main foci, with considerable interactions between them. Approaches range from field studies to laboratory surveys. Accordingly, research tools span from rearing herpetofauna in the lab to various DNA-based techniques.

As an interdisciplinary team, we belong either to the Department of Animal Biology, Plant Biology, and Ecology or to the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, both at the Universidade da Coruña (Spain).
