The course explores and focuses on the functions of management: Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling. Case studies, problems, and discussion of relating articles will provide a deeper understanding of the discussed areas.

The following teaching methods could be widely used in the practice:
- teamwork is a collaborative effort to summarize the results of individual work by team members through sharing of authorities and responsibilities and is a joint activity aimed at the solution of common issues of the undergraduate groups under the leadership of the leader. Working in a group encourages mutual understanding, responsibility and cooperation among students;
- business games are a form of a revitalization of the social and specific content of the future professional activity of a specialist. In roles, the role of professional activity of students in the realization of functions of experts on different workplaces is presented. Students are divided into groups, exposed to them, and they are asked to play a situational role. It prepares them for similar situations in real working conditions;
- the development of critical thinking is a method of teaching that forms the ability to propagate new creative ideas and predict new opportunities, and also to direct students to logic, reflection;
- The analysis of specific cases is the analysis of problematic situations in the field of professional activity and the search for options that have better solutions. Students are given a detailed and factual analysis of the situation. They then review the critical situation, identify positive potential practices and problems, and learn from others' experiences;
- training games - allow students (single or in a group) to solve specifically modelled tasks so that they can better understand the subject through analysis;
- collective discussion: brainstorming. Students are offered a problem, and they are asked to effectively deal with this problem in a very short time. Collecting ideas, grouping them and classifying them into categories lead to a better understanding of the problem and strengthening of the sense of cooperation (teamwork);
- The preliminary study of topics - a preliminary study of new materials that will be taught in the classroom;
- Practical training is the activation of the student’s understanding activity on the basis of personal experience.
Multiple assessment methods will be used. Relying on only one method to provide information about the program will only reflect a part of students’ achievement. A combination of direct and indirect assessment methods should be used. For example, responses from student surveys may be informative, however, when combined with students’ test results and project work they will be more meaningful, valid, and reliable.
The final exam will consist of a practical case. Students do not see the exam paper in advance and must provide answers under exam conditions in a fixed period of time.
