The UDC International Doctoral School (EIDUDC) was set up in 2013 (Decree 95/2013, 13 July, for the creation of doctoral schools in the three constituent institutions of the Galician University System) and is responsible for the organisation, planning, management, supervision and monitoring of all PhD activities at the University of A Coruña. The EIDUDC oversees all PhD programmes operated by the University.
The EIDUDC is administered by a Management Committee, chaired by the EIDUDC director. Committee members include coordinators of UDC PhD programmes approved under Royal Decree 99/2011, as well as representatives from partner institutions, the student body and administration and services staff, with the EIDUDC secretary acting as Committee secretary.
The executive Permanent Committee is chaired by the EIDUDC director and comprises a PhD coordinator from each discipline, one student representative, an administration and services staff representative, and the EIDUDC secretary, acting as Committee secretary.
The activities of the EIDUDC are governed by UDC PhD policies and regulations and EIDUDC internal policies and regulations.
