Databases
Using the library you can access to different useful databases for your Sociology or Communication studies. In some of them you will only find referential information (bibliographical information) and in many other cases you have access to the full text of the document that interests you. If you can not access to the full text, please, take note of the reference and request the document by our interlibrary loan service.

Full-text multidisciplinary English database with content from 1887 of periodicals, monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. We have an unlimited number of access licenses from the UDC |

- PressReader is a digital press kiosk that gives access to a wide selection of newspapers and magazines from 157 countries, among which we find more than 200 publications in Spanish with a different time coverage depending on each publication. These publications are divided into the categories of: art, automotive, home and garden, food and kitchen, computing and technology, parenting and family, sports, design, entertainment and television, photography, history and science, games, fashion, Music, Navigation and Aviation, Business and current affairs, News, For men, For women, Outdoor recreation, Health and fitness, Travel and local life. The tool allows you to read, listen, translate (automatic translation), share, print, etc. the different news and do retrospective searches of a month searching by keyword. In addition to online access, the portal has an application to download on mobile devices (access from the UDC's wi-fi network). It is recommended to create an account to connect from different devices. It allows you to create a user and save your favorite topics or posts to work as a subscribed news aggregator.
