Webinar - Australian National University (ANU)

A webinar to look at the impact of COVID in Latin America over the past year organised by the Australian National University (ANU)

We have just received this message from Mr. Campbell, at ANU: As you may be aware, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 the Australian National University (together with the Universities of Notre Dame, Newcastle and Sydney) collaborated on a five-part webinar series to examine and learn from the public health and policy responses and impact of COVID in six Latin American countries.

One year later experts from Brazil, Chile and Uruguay have agreed to participate in a follow-up webinar on 12 October which will provide an update on the status of COVID-19 in their respective countries. This will include actions taken by governments in the interim, an assessment of the lessons learned from the experience and their vision for a “new normal” as governments and citizens alike deal with life with COVID in the future.

The webinar is being held at 9 am on Tuesday 12 October (AEST). Details of the program, and how to register (zoom) are contained in the following link.
