Dr Vânia Sousa Lima is Associate Professor at Faculdade de Educação e Psicologia - Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She has a PhD in Psychology, from the University of Minho, where she also graduated. Within her PhD work, she was a visiting researcher at the Institute of Child Development - University of Minnesota, training on dyadic interaction in romantic relationships and adult attachment representation. In Dublin, she completed the Level 1 Clinical Training on Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Her main research interests include an attachment in couple relationships, family functioning, developmental psychopathology, psychological assessment and clinical intervention. She was director of Clínica Universitária de Psicologia at FEP-UCP, where she develops her clinical practice with adults, couples and families, and research on psychotherapeutic intervention process.
