She obtained her MA in English Language and Literature in 2008 and joined MuStE in 2010, after being awarded an FPU Grant by the Spanish Ministry of Science. While pursuing her postgraduate studies, she stayed as a visiting student at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (2010), Lancaster University (2012 and 2013) and Aston University (2015). In 2017 she completed her PhD in English Linguistics with a dissertation studying register variation in Late Modern English scientific texts.

Since 2023, she has worked as a lecturer at the University of A Coruña. Her research focuses on historical corpus linguistics and discourse analysis, with a particular interest in Multidimensional Studies following Biber’s (1988) methodology.
