Markéta Matulová is an assistant professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of MU Brno. Her specialization is Operations Research, and she is teaching courses on Statistics, Optimization methods, and Decision Science. She is also working as a tutor in Maths and Stats Support Centre. She has PhD. in Mathematics from the University of Ostrava and a master degree in Economy from MU. Markéta has participated in many research and educational projects; currently, she is a member of the project team of Erasmus+ project “Partnership in Learning and Teaching University Mathematics” focused on inquiry-based education. Her experience with summer schools as a participant or a teacher covers stays at Gdańsk University of Technology, Jožef Stefan Institut in Slovenia, University Lille 1, University of Milano-Bicocca, Matej Bel University in Slovakia, and others. Her other activities include membership in many associations, such as Czech Society for Operations Research or International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making.
