Roman Kornyliuk, D.Sc.(econ.), is an economist with 15 years of professional experience in data analytics in banking and finance. Now, he is Professor at Banking and Insurance department of Kyiv National Economic University and Head of Financial Analysis at R&D department of YouControl (UA regtech company). Roman is a lecturer of the "Money and Credit" course, author and lecturer of courses “Macroprudential Analysis”, “Product Management in Banking”, "Banking System". He combines scientific and pedagogical activity with advising business media on rating of banks. Starting from 2009 on the basis
of developed authoring techniques, the solvency ratings of banks in Ukrainian media are regularly calculated. He worked on projects on banking, financial stability, global economy, providing firm- and market-level analytics based on the open data sources. Roman Kornyliuk was a participant of workshops and research seminars organised by the National Bank of Ukraine, Bank of Estonia, IBM, Mastercard. Participant in scientific conferences in Italy, Great Britain, Latvia. He has experience of working in different educational projects with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (Germany), Kyiv Mohyla Business School (Ukraine) etc. Fields of research interests: money, finance and credit, banking system, systemic risk, bank rating, credit scoring, data science
