Dr. Mirtskhulava currently holds an associate professor position at the department of Computer Science at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and San Diego State University Georgia. She was part-time faculty in the department of Computer engineering at San Jose State University, CA from January 2019 to August 2019. She joined SJSU in fall semester 2018 as a Fulbright Research Scholar. Dr. Mirtskhulava received her Ph.D. in Computer Science. She has 15 years of industry work experience as an ICT Senior Engineer at Ericsson Ltd and Geocell LLC. Her research interests include: blockchains, cybersecurity, neural cryptography, AI, medical applications of ANN, mobile app development, IoT security issues, mathematical modeling and wireless technologies. Dr. Mirtskhulava has published over 50 scientific papers in the areas of medical applications of ANN, network security, mathematical modeling, and mobile app development.
Dr. Mirtskhulava was invited as a visiting professor at the University of Cambridge, UK to conduct the scientific workshops in 2013. She is the recipient of DAAD Scholarship from Westsaxson University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, Germany in 2016. Dr. Mirtskhulava has participated in the Professor Exchange program at San Diego State University. She was a keynote speaker and served as the technical Committee and advisory board member in several international conferences.
