Graduated with PhD in 1988 and MSc in 1984 in MechEngineering from USA and a Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, USSR, 1976. Worked at the Royal Jordanian Air Force 1976-1981 as Aerospace Engineer. Upon graduation with PhD, I spent one year at OSU as Adjunct Assistant Professor after which I joined Virginia Tech, as a post-doctoral researcher in 1989-1990. In Sept. 1990, I joined University of Jordan (JU) as assistant professor engaging in teaching and research. In Feb 1999, I spent 4.5 years at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU)/Oman until 2003 where was teaching and doing research for the Petroleum Development Oman and the middle east desalination research center. Returning to JU until 2007, I joined the American University of Sharjah (AUS), UAE and in the fall of 2009, I joined SQU again until 2012 where I returned to AUS until I returned to JU in 2017 where I am currently working. Throughout the summers of 1992 to 95, I spent a total of 11 months at NASA Langley research center doing research in fluid mechanics area. Taught several courses both undergraduate and graduate levels and attracted over US$2 million in research funds. Published over 60 international refereed Journal and conference articles.
