Dr. Gülçin Polat has been a lecturer in the area of International Trade and Business since 2010. She received her PhD in Business and Management from the Anadolu University, her MS in Business and Management from Dumlupınar University, and her BS in International Relationship from the Middle East Technical University. She has 5 years of working experience in the area of export, marketing and sales in two leading manufacturing and exporting companies of Turkey. She co-finished an EU-project on sustainability and competitiveness of tourism SMEs in Europe in 2012. She teaches Introduction to Foreign Trade, Foreign Trade Transactions, International Business, Strategic Management, Human Resources Management, Tourism Marketing. In addition to teaching and research, she served as the head of Foreign Trade Department of the Honaz Vocational School at Pamukkale University, as academic advisor, and industrial internship supervisor.
