Daniel Andrés López, born 1991 in Germany, has studied Computer Science in Mannheim and Wiesbaden, Germany, since 2010 until 2016. Study research was focused on autonomous robots, path finding algorithms and optical tracking systems. His doctoral studies at Johannes-Gutenberg University, Mainz, started in 2017 by developing tracking systems and sensor fusion algorithms. Now he has concentrated on computer vision without and with artificial neural networks in various fields such as logistics or medicine. He also led the practical group sessions in computer vision lecture several times. During his studies he worked at IBM Germany and UK in different departments like support, virtualization and developments in Internet of Things. He participated for 4 years in a student team developing small sized robots to play football at the international RoboCup event.
During 2013 and 2015 he taught his robotics knowledge in primary school. He is also active in social environment, e.g. as youth leader from 2005 until 2020 and as technical website administrator of this organization. In recent years his focus shifted to sports activities in his club. Since 2017 he participated three times at the UCI indoor cycling world championships with his Spanish (second) nationality as artistic cyclist.
