Ewa Wójcik, PhD, currently employed as a senior lecturer at the University of Economics in Katowice, previously at the University School of Banking and Finance as a lecturer as well as a Deputy Rector.
With interests in Banking, Marketing, Micro and Macroeconomics, and sustainability issues, she cooperated with Polish as well as foreign academic institutions, eg the University of Technology in Gliwice, the University of Florence, Vilniaus Kolegija.
She carried out research and authored numerous scientific publications on banking and savings markets, competition in financial services, value co-creation, consumer behaviour, business ethics and sustainable development.
She combines an academic career and research with teaching English for specific purposes (English skills confirmed by the Certificate of Proficiency in English of the University of Cambridge). Her additional practical experience derives from cooperation with businesses where she runs courses in English for managers.
She co-authored numerous textbooks in English for students of economics, banking, finance and worked as “reviewer of draft material” for Pearson.
An author of postgraduate programs within ESF and studies in the field of International Business of the Norwegian Funds and a lecturer, she was awarded many times for the achievements of students of the courses of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
