Name: Vilma Sukackė

Vilma Sukackė is a lecturer, associated researcher and trainer of DAtA center, project expert, and PhD candidate of Educational sciences at Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania. In 2023, she was also employed as an EdTech expert at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. In 2021 and 2024, she won the KTU’s yearly award of the most innovative teacher in the field of Social Sciences. Her scientific interest and expertise areas are Technology-enhanced teaching/learning, digital pedagogy, research methods, and sociolinguistics. She teaches courses to BA, MA, and PhD students (e.g. “Social Media and Network Analysis”, “Computer-assisted Methods for Qualitative Inquiry”, “Introduction to Research Methods”, “Modern Educational Systems and Technologies”, etc.). She is an author or a co-author of numerous publications, including scientific papers and teachers’ manuals. She has been or is currently working on such ERASMUS & Horizon projects as ECIU University, BADGE, HACK-IT, and augMENTOR. She was the chair of the organizing committee of a number of international conferences (e.g. ICIST, IVUS) and is in the organization team of such international events as EATEL Summer School on Technology Enhanced Learning. She gives seminars and workshops on Technology-enhanced teaching/learning, academic writing, and research methods in various training events on both local and international levels.
