Barbara Rinauro

I graduated in 2015 as a Marine Engineer at the University of Naples Federico II.

I achieved a European PhD in Industrial engineering in 2020, during which I spent four months as a visiting researcher at the University of Zagreb.

After my master thesis and before my PhD research activities I worked for one year as a Naval Architect in the technical department for the shipping company “CIN – Tirrenia” in Naples.

I worked for one year at the Politecnico di Torino as a post-doctoral researcher in a project related to test and analysis of advanced marine technologies for renewable energies.

Since 2021, I am working in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Sustainable Ship and Shipping 4.0 (SEAS 4.0) supporting the coordination of didactic activities and courses, and managing the organization of current and future students.

I held twice a Matlab course at the University of Naples and delivered some lectures in the course of SGISC held in the SEAS 4.0 programme.

I have a Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (C1 Level (CFER)) and a Spanish certificate (B1 Level (CFER) Instituto Cervantes DELE).
