Course Overview

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge for the provision of patient-centered care and patient education. In addition, it aims to provide the students with the knowledge of medication safety and medication errors in the treatment of health disorders.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students should be able to understand the basic concept of pharmacotherapy and clinical pharmacy, to use the available clinical practice guidelines and to generate patient education. In addition, students should be able to understand the concept beyond the rational drug use medication errors and recognize how to avoid them.
