Venues

The event will be in person, Toronto attendees at Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM 2-002 Boardroom) and Coruña attendees at the Faculty of Business and Economics (FEE POP 2), with Zoom connection between the two venues.

The event will take place in the mornings in Toronto (9am - 3pm) and afternoons in A Coruña (3 - 9pm).

Conferences

The event is conceived as an opportunity for academics of both universities to explore avenues of collaboration, including teaching (e.g., guest lecturing, COIL teaching, co-direction of final projects), research (e.g., articles, conferences, funding), and prospects for future exchange (e.g., sabbaticals):

• Opening act. Representatives from both institutions will give a brief talk on the main requirements and incentives for teaching and research that exist in both countries: e.g., teaching evaluation system, career promotion requirements, salary complements, etc.
• Sessions. The event will be organized in a series of sessions in which the speakers would be grouped according to their department or lines of research.
• Presentations. Individual presentations will be oriented to summarize academic biography, lines of research and desired avenues for collaboration in teaching and research. 10 minute presentations are expected. PowerPoint templates are provided HERE.
