Round Tables
During the development of this Plan, it becomes essential to bring in all of the Associations, entities and persons that have first-hand knowledge about the Maritime Culture and Heritage of Galicia, creating a collaborative reflection on it, producing a meaningful, well documented and impactful report within the professional area as well as the rest of the population.
This is where Round Tables come in as a space of dialogue with different sea-related agents that allowed us to extract quality information. This is a cornerstone of the Plan's intent to be open and public, for these agents cover an ample range from the most technical participants to day to day sea - related lives.
From March through June 2022 we have organized 7 different round table events all along the Galician coast. These locations were chosen based on significance towards Maritime Culture and Heritage, both for the richness of their heritage and for the presence and strength of a social and professional connection with the sea.
