INTERREG POCTEP
Promotes the development of cross-border projects between different regions of Spain and Portugal. The programme has been articulated into priorities that respond to four of the Political Objectives (OP) plus a specific Interreg objective, for which different specific objectives (SO) and types of actions that may be financed in each of them have been established: Smarter Europe (OP1), a greener and low-carbon Europe (OP2), a more social Europe (OP4), a Europe closer to citizens (OP5) and better governance of cooperation (OE Interreg).
In Spain, the regions of Andalusia, Castilla y León, Extremadura and Galicia can participate.
Interreg SUDOE
Supports the development of regional transnational projects in southwestern Europe (Spain, France, Portugal and Gibraltar), through the ERDF. The cooperation themes of the Interreg Sudoe programme are in line with the guidelines of the European Cohesion Policy for the cooperation period 2021-2027 covering four of the political priorities of the period 2021-2027: a smarter Europe (OP1), a Europe greener and low carbon (OP2), a more social Europe (OP4) and better governance of cooperation (OE Interreg).
The 9 specific objectives supported by the Interreg Sudoe programme echo the 2 strategic orientations that derive from the identity of the programme:
