The University Library has two new tools at its disposal:

From 1 May 2024 the SUG university community will be able to access the Incites and Scival bibliometric database solutions for a temporary period of one year.

• Clarivate Incites (Benchmarking and Analytics): is an analytical tool that uses data from the Web of Science and the Journal Citation Reports. With its range of indicators and normalised indicators, the academic impact of various institutions, journals, groups and research staff can be compared. For access, if the user already has a Web of Science account, he/she can use it. Otherwise, they can create one from the initial authentication page or from this link.
• Elsevier Scival (Benchmarking/Compare Module): is a bibliometric analysis tool that provides access to the performance of more than 21,000 research institutions and their associated research staff in over 234 countries worldwide. With Scival you can visualise research performance, inform strategy and planning, and benchmark against peers. For access, if the user already has a Scopus account, he/she can use it. Otherwise, they can create one from the home page or from this link, following the steps after clicking on "Sign in via your organisation" and selecting the university of origin.

The two applications are funded by the Regional Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Universities, the three universities of the Galician University System (SUG) and the Inter-University Consortium of the Galician University System (CISUG).
