The University Library's translator for teaching and research staff, administrative and service staff and the Rector's Office

The University Library has just acquired Deepl, a translator that allows texts and files to be translated into multiple languages.

The University Library version is the starter version, which includes:

  • Unlimited text translation into 32 languages.
  • Translation of files: the University Library has a translation pool of 250 translations per month for all libraries. The files can occupy a maximum of 10 Mb. They can be in PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx) format.
  • Possibility of creating a glossary with 5,000 entries.

The PDI must contact their centre library to make use of its services. The pdi will send the text indicating the language into which it is to be translated. Once processed, the Library will send the translated text.

The Central Library will attend to the requests of the PAS, libraries and Rectorate. These requests should be sent to adquisicions.biblioteca@udc.es.

As licences are limited, applications will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis.
