Attendance to GOinterHUB

Last Friday March 3, 2023 David Cordal, Tomás Guillén (Chile), Laura Castro and Almudena Filgueira attended the GOinterHUB "Galician Offshore International HUB", a conference organized by ASIME, Navantia, Windar Renovables and the Xunta de Galicia.

It brought together representatives of the most important entities worldwide in this new industry. Among them, Giles Dickson, CEO of WindEurope, who brilliantly explained the potential of offshore wind energy for the European industry.

Also attended by students of the 1st Degree in Naval and Oceanic Engineering of the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol of the University of A Coruña, could attend the conference, thus improving their skills of "having the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (usually within their area of study) to make judgments that include a reflection on relevant issues of social, scientific or ethical nature" and to "assess the importance of research, innovation and technological development in the socioeconomic and cultural advancement of society.
