Dr. Satish C Ailawadi is a graduate in Chemical Engineering and MBA in Marketing and Operations Management. He obtained his PhD in “Impact of Globalization on Research and Development Management in Pharmaceutical Industry”.

He possesses 27 years corporate experience in Sales Administration, Product Management, International business, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management in a Multi-national Japanese Trading House, Consumer Electronics, and Textile Industry.

He also possesses 19 years experience as a faculty member including 8 years as the Director of the reputed business schools in India. He has authored a book on 'Logistics Management' published by PHI, presented papers in several national and international conferences and given lectures in reputed business schools in Austria and Germany. 

Currently he is working as an Advisor-Mentor & Executive Director at Nath School of Business & Technology, Aurangabad, Maharashtra State, India. Prior to this he has worked as a Director-K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai, India, Director -Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad, India and Professor Emeritus in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, India.

His teaching interests are in the area of Operations Management, Operations Planning & Control, Service Operations Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Total Quality Management, Business Process Re-engineering, International Marketing, Cross-cultural Management and Spanish Language.
