Ms. Lam Hong Lan is a PhD candidate and lecturer at the School of Communication & Design, RMIT Vietnam, with a focus on sustainable fashion practices in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Her recent project Exploring the Role of Local Fashion Micro Small Enterprises in Vietnam’s Creative Economy, emphasizes the importance of local MSEs in creative economy contribution. She has published a chapter Engaging for a Global Outlook from RMIT Melbourne L& T Conference in 2019 on the best practice in engaging students from different cultures. She won an Innovative Assessment Grant 2023 from RMIT Melbourne on integrating SDGs into curriculum and co-facilitated the ‘Climate Change’ workshop with RMIT Melbourne in April 2024. She is also an author of a blog https://lamhonglan.substack.com since 2022 to support local fashion start-ups in sustainable business models.
