Name: Adrienne Komanovics

Adrienne Komanovics received her first degree (a then unsplit LLB and LLM) with distinction form the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs in 1992. One year later she applied for and was accepted to the LLM course (Community Legal Order) at the University of Essex, UK. She earned her PhD degree in 2007, also with distinction.
She started her academic career at the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs. Since 2015 she has been teaching at the prestigious Institute of International Relations, Corvinus University of Budapest. She teaches International Law, European Union Law, Human
Rights Law, and various other legal courses. She has been teaching in English for two decades and has participated in a joint degree programme with Middlesex University, London, UK. Her publications focus on the public law aspects of the European Union,
the status of the individual in international law, and human rights.
Throughout her academic career, she has been heavily involved in international relations: building new relationships, visiting partner universities (mainly in Spain and in the Netherlands), lecturing at partner institutions, hosting visiting professors,
and teaching incoming international students.
