Markéta Matulová is an assistant professor at the Department of Statistics and Operation Analysis at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno. Previously, she worked at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University. Her specialization is Operations Research, and she is teaching courses on Statistics, Optimization methods, and Decision Science. She has PhD. in Mathematics from the University of Ostrava and a master degree in Economy from Masaryk University. Markéta has participated in many research and educational projects; currently, she is a member of the project team of Erasmus+ project focused on inquiry-based education. Her experience with summer schools as a participant or a teacher covers stays at Gdańsk University of Technology, Jožef Stefan Institut in Slovenia, University Lille 1, University of Milano-Bicocca, Matej Bel University in Slovakia, and others. Her other roles include active membership in many associations, such as Czech Society for Operations Research or International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making.
