Gregor Dugar is an Associate Professor of Civil and Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. His teaching and research activities encompass the fields of financial law, corporate law, commercial contract law, and property law. He is the author of numerous scientific and other articles in the field of law and has contributed to several academic monographs. He is also a member of the editorial boards of the international scientific journals European Company Case Law and the Central European Journal of Comparative Law.

This is because crypto-asset regulation intersects with all these traditional legal disciplines. At the University of Ljubljana, he was the first to establish and develop the accredited course Regulation of crypto-assets and crypto-asset Markets, which is primarily designed for international Erasmus exchange students.
