Elena Mărgineanu is a lecturer of Environmental Law and Business Negotiation at Free International University of Moldova (ULIM), holding concomitantly the position of university vice-chancellor. She graduated Law in bachelors at ULIM, Strategy (Business Administration) at Korea University with KGSP program, and PhD in International Public and European Law at ULIM with the topic „Legal protection of ecosystems at national and international level: contemporary tendencies”. As a practical exercise for her research, she designed and continues to work over a Circular Permaculture Garden, implementing the knowledge in the field. She won the scholarship of „Leading Scholar” at One Young World London summit in 2019 and represented Moldova at various international events, including COP. Elena Margineanu designed the curricula for „Ecological culture” discipline for kindergarten and primary school level. She has various national and international publications on her academic interests and continues to advance the research through unconventional approaches.
