José Carlos Sá

José Carlos Sá is MSc in Industrial Engineering (1998) and Bachelor Degree in Production Engineering (2010), both by University of Minho, Portugal. In 2015 he awarded the title of Specialist in Quality Management, by Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, Portugal. Currently, he is Professor and Lean Six Sigma Post-graduation Coordinator on the School of Engineering, Polytechnic of Porto (Portugal) and researcher at LAETA - Associated Laboratory for Energy, Transports and Aeronautics (INEGI). He taught in Higher Education since 2005. He has over 20 years of experience in industry, having performed functions of Production Planning, Process Control and Quality Management in a multinational company and in several national SMEs. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Technological Sustainability Journal (Emerald) and member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Applied Research on Industrial Engineering. He is also a member of Review Board of International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (MDPI). He has supervised more than 50 MSc. students at ISEP-IPP and has more than 100 papers (ISI+SCOPUS) on Quality Management, Safety, Sustainability and Lean Six Sigma published.
