I am a molecular biomedical scientist with a focus on neuroscience and neuroendocrinology, specializing in areas such as oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis. Motivated by a genuine interest in biomedicine, my research has primarily been orientated to age-related impairments, neurodegeneration, and neuroprotection. I also explore the influence of hormones, innovative therapeutics, and the impact of toxicity, including the effects of microplastics on health. My work extends to synaptic plasticity and signal transduction. Beyond the laboratory, I am passionate about scientific outreach. I believe in making science accessible to diverse audiences and contributing to broader awareness of cutting-edge research. My goal is to contribute not only to advancements in the field but also to inspire curiosity and awareness of scientific breakthroughs in the wider community. Thus, the very reason I am applying for this summer school is to ignite a sparkle of interest in students and expand it to the next generations.
