Adrienne Komanovics

Adrienne Komanovics received her first degree (a then unsplit LLB and LLM) with honours, in 1992 at the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs. A year later she applied for and was accepted to an LLM course (Community Legal Order) at the University of Essex, UK. She earned her PhD degree in 2007, again with honours.

She started her academic career at the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs. Since 2015 she has taught at the prestigious Institute of International Relations, Corvinus University of Budapest. She reads International Law, European Union Law, Human Rights Law, and various other legal courses. She has lectured in English for two decades and participated in a joint degree programme with Middlesex University, London, UK. Her publications focus on the public-law aspects of the European Union, the status of individuals in international law, and human rights.

Throughout her academic career, she has been intensively engaged in international relations: building new relations, visiting partner universities (mainly in Spain and in the Netherlands), lecturing at partner institutions, receiving visiting professors, and lecturing incoming international students.
