The Research and Teaching Ethics Committee (CEID) is a collegiate, permanent, interdisciplinary, and independent body of an advisory nature responsible for ensuring the ethical, methodological, and legal adequacy of research and for promoting scientific and academic integrity within the university community. The CEID is attached to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer (VIT) of the University of A Coruña (UDC) and constitutes an institutional guarantee that projects carried out by UDC researchers respect the fundamental ethical principles recognized at national and international levels.
