HISPANIA (Hispanic Language, Literature and Culture Research Group) (G000208) is registered in the Research Catalog of the University of Coruña by agreement of the Research Commission since October 24, 2005.
The group is made up of professors of Spanish Language and Literature from the Department of Letters of the Faculty of Philology of the Universidade da Coruña and different collaborators, from the university itself and from other Spanish or foreign universities. The group integrates diverse teams that work in different lines of investigation, with the common interest for the study and investigation in the Hispanic Language, Literature and Culture from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Results of the external evaluation: the group was evaluated by the ANEP (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness) within the "External evaluation process of the research groups of the UDC Catalog", reaching a score of 42 points out of 50. Several of its members were rated A (the highest possible rating: "Excellent, internationally comparable quality in that scientific area").
The group was recognized by the Xunta de Galicia as a Growth Potential Group, receiving aid from 2019 to 2021, reference: ED431B 2019/28.
