What is EMERGE?

EMERGE (Empowering the Margins of Europe through Regional and Global Engagement) is a strategic alliance of nine European universities working together to transform higher education in peripheral regions. Its goal is to promote inclusion, innovation, and mobility within the university sector, contributing to a more cohesive and equitable European Education Area.

The University of A Coruña (UDC) is a member of this alliance, alongside the University of Limerick (Ireland), Democritus University of Thrace (Greece), Europa-Universität Flensburg (Germany), Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (Norway), Neapolis University Pafos (Cyprus), Université Bretagne Sud (France), Université Rennes 2 (France), and Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia).

Together, these nine institutions form a Eurocampus with over 125,000 students, committed to building a more accessible, diverse, and connected higher education system at both regional and international levels.
