Simita Fernández FernándezMaría del Mar Rural Community | Guatemala |
In a country where 75% of the population lives under the poverty line, an alternative is proposed to spontaneous settlements that arise after a long process of 'land struggle'. Looking for an architecture that listens the voice of those who live it, to strengthen group identity, human contact, unity, community, place and territory. All of it with very limited means, where the only abundant and inexpensive resource is human strength. The result is an architecture at the limit, responsible, clean.
