Espazo Compartido is a personal, social and basic skills training programme for employability and promoting labour inclusion of young people with cognitive disabilities sponsored by the University of A Coruña.
It is a project created with the intention of opening the university space to groups that cannot access the regular training channels because of the significant barriers to entry in our educational system.
Espazo Compartido is supported determinedly by university social responsibility, a sign of commitment of the University of A Coruña with society and with the right to a decent and equal education.
Espazo Compartido is a pioneering project in the regional university system and one of the first at national level. Its main objective is to include people with cognitive disabilities in the university training area. The programme aims students to progress in building a positive self-image and a life that allows them to develop autonomously.
