You have a flexible area on the second floor to carry out your group academic activities, watch movies, hold meetings, etc. This space has maximum capacity for two groups: one of 10 people and one of 14 and you will find in it:
You can book the Zona Verde from here. Consult previously how to reserve the group workroom.
You have a display with the last acquisitions on each side of the library entrance. If you want to keep an eye on the lastest monographs you will find them on the right. We show you the lastest journal issues we receive on the left side.
If you want to know the new titles added to our audivisual collection you can browse through our ring binders.
You can use the catalog to find specific information searching by title or by director, but don´t forget that our Pinterest profile allows you to explore the collection by country, decades, genres or themes.
The library offers you a space where you can rest and read the press. You have a sofa, two armchairs and two reading places on it.
Whenever you need it, you can use one of the 4 computers with internet connection to do your bibliographic searches.
Although this is their preferred use, these computers are also provided with useful software for work as Microsoft Office and Libre Office package, PDF Creator, Adobe 2017, VideoLAN, and Python 3.2.
In our library, print journals are available for consultation, without intermediaries, in the journals and periodicals library. In this space you will also have 5 reading places to browse them comfortably.
In the changing world of new technologies, many supports are left behind, replaced by others that allow greater storage capacity (although not durability) or that offer better information search systems.
In our library we keep some materials in unusual formats such as microfiches or VHS. If you are interested in consulting any document in those kind of supports, you can use our consulting devices. You have a microfiche reader, a VHS player (we have a small collection on this analogical format) and a DVD player. Ask us for headphones at the lending desk to use these two devices.
You will find an information desk at the entrance. There you can borrow documets for home and consult your doubts.
