The library collection is composed by the collection in open stacks and by the collection in closed stacks. The first one consists of the documents that you can find on the shelves of the reading room and are directly within your reach without our intercession. The second one includes those documents that we keep separately in the closed area. You have to request us to give them to you so that you can consult or borrow them.
We place these documents in a separate space to maintain the relevance of the collection in direct access and to facilitate that you find the suitable material quickly and comfortably. You will distinguish this material in the search-results screen (when you are querying) because it is specified in the location and because its code or call number is preceded by the prefix DSOC.
