The Afrontemos program includes assessment and specialist psychological advice on how to improve stress coping or emotional management and strategies to better cope with adversity that cannot be changed easily or quickly.
It begins with a 50-minute consultation by a specialist in psychology (working as a team with the entire team of the UIICF Family Intervention and Care Research Unit). Based on this initial consultation, a care plan and objectives are agreed with you. The most common is that between 4 and 6 sessions are carried out. Six sessions is the maximum possible, but if your situation requires longer or specialized therapy, from Afrontemos we help you find and start the appropriate treatment.
It is always you who decides how you want to use the help, there is no commitment or condition imposed.
Interventions are carried out in individual, couple and family format (in accordance with the user's decision) to generate changes in communication and in the relationship of the person or persons involved in a problematic, suffering or conflict situation.
This entire care procedure described can be done in person or online, the user chooses which modality they prefer.
