Dr. Eirin-Lopez has been awarded with the 2011 Prize of the Spanish Society of Evolutionary Biology (SESBE) for the Best Young Researcher in Evolutionary Biology. The award will be presented on Nov. 23rd at the Congress of the Society, which will be held at the Spanish Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid.

The open access journal Epigenetics and Chromatin has published today a paper that soon will be a landmark in the study of histone variants. Our research group is honored of being part of this work, in which a unified phylogeny-based nomenclature for histone variants is proposed by researchers from 35 different institutions worldwide.
