In the Faculty of Philology at the University of A Coruna students can take courses on languages,
linguistics and literature at Bachelor's and Master's degrees. They can also enroll in PH D programmes.

A team of highly qualified teaching and research staff members form this recently created Faculty. All of
them are engaged in students tutoring and counselling.

Students have at their disposal a wide range of facilities such as a free access library, a whole day open
computer room and a room especially devoted to collaborative work. Two computer rooms for teaching,
rooms with audiovisual and other technical facilities, language labs as well as a remote lecturing room
form part of the services that can be found in the Faculty of Philology.

At the Bachelor's degree, students can acquire a high level of education in the language and literature of
their election: Spanish, Galician and Portuguese or English. Every year we are the receiving institution of
foreign students from other European countries or even from the American continent.

At the Master´s degrees, students can specialise in different fields:

Master in Language and Professional Uses

Master in Language, Culture and Diversity

Master in Applied Linguistics.
